"Springtime
Thoughts"
Maybe it's the sub-freezing temperatures and the
snow on the ground, but Region 15 is already starting to turn
its eyes toward the spring. This month, 8th graders are going to
start thinking about making a big step into high school, and
Region 15 is helping their parents assist their child in this
transition with informational meetings and curriculum
orientation.
Also, the 2004-05 school budget planning
process is a sure sign that daffodils and robins aren't too far
away now. Interested parents, residents, and students are
invited to all informational meetings about the upcoming school
budget.
Until, however, spring does finally arrive
on March 20th, turn to www.Region15.org
for up-to-the-minute school delays and cancellation
information. And don't forget, Monday, January 19th is a
school holiday in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
COMMUNITY
CONNECTIONS is the monthly emailed publication to inform parents, students, educators,
and residents in the Region 15
School District of the latest happenings related to
our school system. We want to hear from you. Please feel
free to contact us
with your thoughts, concerns, and ideas.
