Public Invited to Attend Budget Hearings

COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS is the monthly emailed publication to inform parents, students, educators, and residents in the Region 15 School District of the latest happenings related to our school system. We want to hear from you. Please feel free to contact us with your thoughts, concerns, and ideas.

During the school budget process, voters insist on strong leadership, honest communication, clear direction and inclusion in the decision-making process. The Pomperaug Regional School District 15 Board of Education invites all interested residents to any of the budget hearings, PTO meetings, and Board meetings to learn more about the 2004-05 school budget.

There are lot of exciting things happening at the Region 15 schools. See below for stories and photos about the Middlebury Elementary School Coast-to-Coast Marathon, a Spanish-language Fashion Show, and the Tribute to Dr. Seuss/Reading Kick-off at Gainfield Elementary School.

On April 12th, residents are invited to the Board of Education Public Hearing on the Budget at Pomperaug High School cafeteria at 7:30pm.

In addition, residents are also invited to attend the Region 15 Board of Education meetings. Next meeting: March 22nd at 7:30pm at PHS. Click below for dates:

Not only will the MES Coast-to-Coast Marathon focus on fitness, persistence, and goal-setting, but also on geography and math.

Districtwide: No School on Friday, April 9th (Good Friday); Spring Break April 19 -23rd. Mark the date: Region 15 Art Show on May 1st.
