Hal has many accomplishments: two-time state class M champion; two-time state class M runner up New England championship; three-times gymnastics coach of the year for teams of one; four SWC Championships. In addition he has been very generous to Region 15 by: coaching his first year with out a stipend so we can start our program; lending gymnastics equipment to our schools for PE classes; working with our cheerleaders.

PHS: Pomperaug Theatre Company
The Pomperaug Theatre Company has been nominated in 7 performance categories for the 7 Angels Theatre's 3rd annual Halo Awards. On May 24th, they won the 2005-2006 Halo Award for Best Ensemble in a play for their fall production, The Mouse That Roared!
"This particular award category is meaningful to me because it rewards the team efforts of over 30 students working together toward a common goal," said Mr. Paul Doniger. "A sense of ensemble is one of the major goals I have for my students, both on stage and back stage. That a group of theatre professionals recognized the students' efforts is extremely gratifying."
On a related note, in August 2006, Mr. Doniger will be playing Sir Toby Belch in Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. Ticket information.
