Pomperaug Theatre Company
The Pomperaug
Theatre Company has been nominated in 7 performance
categories for the 7 Angels Theatre's 3rd annual Halo
Awards. On May 24th, they won the 2005-2006 Halo Award for
Best Ensemble in a play for their fall production,
The
Mouse That Roared!
"This particular award category is meaningful
to me because it rewards the team efforts of over 30
students working together toward a common goal," said
Mr. Paul Doniger. "A sense of ensemble is one of the
major goals I have for my students, both on stage and back
stage. That a group of theatre professionals recognized
the students' efforts is extremely gratifying."
On a related note, in August 2006, Mr. Doniger will
be playing Sir Toby Belch in Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. Ticket
