DID YOU KNOW? You can obtain Absentee Ballots for a spouse or college student who will be out of town, a resident who is immobilized or anyone with a conflict, as stated on the Application for Absentee Ballot that may prevent them from voting on the 2008-2009 School Budget Referendum on Wednesday, May 7, 2007. All Registered Voters or Owners of taxable property valued over $1,000 are eligible to vote. The property (real estate/home, motor vehicle, personal) must be listed in the person’s name on the October 1, 2007 Grand List. Owner(s) must be U.S. Citizen(s) over 18 years of age. STEP ONE: Here are three ways to obtain an Application for Absentee Ballot for Referendum Authorized to be Held with Less Than 3 Weeks Notice (Form ED-3R REV 2/00):

If you have appointed an authorized designee, your Absentee Ballot must be returned in person to the Town Clerk on or before the May 7th Referendum.
