Budget Awareness Committee The Region 15 School Home Community Liaisons, Karen Kirk and Fran Tepperman, are looking for volunteers to join the 2007-2008 Budget Awareness Committee. The BAC was formed last year to disseminate fact based information regarding the Board of Education’s budget setting process and recommended budget for the coming school year. BAC volunteers should be interested in learning about the 2007-2008 proposed budget and how it will impact their child and the community. This is an opportunity to become an active part of the budget setting process by creating awareness and sharing ideas to improve communication. Volunteer responsibilities include, but are not limited to, making voting reminder phone calls to all Region 15 PTO members, assisting with the organization of planned Community Roundtable and distribution of budget information to area preschools.
