Budget Awareness Committee

           The School Home Community Liaisons, Karen Kirk and Fran Tepperman, are looking for volunteers for the Budget Awareness Committee. These volunteers should be interested in learning about the upcoming school budget and how it will impact their child and community.  This is an opportunity to become an active part of the process by creating awareness. All ideas and suggestions about improving communication in regard to the budget process are welcomed.

            Volunteer responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the posting of voting reminder flyers in both Southbury and Middlebury, making voting reminder phone calls to all Region 15 PTO members, assisting with the organization of forums and Town Talks to discuss the budget with the community, distribution of voting reminder flyers at specified business locations on the day of referendum and the distribution of budget information to area preschools.
