CAPT Results
Because our students did very well in the Connecticut
Academic Performance Test (CAPT), please take the time to
review the following summary of the results. We are very
proud of our students.
The information is organized into three levels comparing
Region 15 to our Education Reference Group "C" and
the State. The goal standard employed by "No Child Left
Behind" (NCLB) is lower than that of the Connecticut
State Department of Education. In both comparisons, State
goal and NCLB, Region 15 compares favorably. To determine
the percent of goal achievement under NCLB, combine the
percent at State goal with the percent at proficiency. As
you will determine in most cases, we are currently less than
4 percent from meeting the 100 percent goal for 2012.
