From February 15-18, 2006, six Region 15 students participated in the American Choral Directors Association Eastern Division Junior High Honor Choir in New York City. They were among approximately 180 students selected from the eastern region of the country by audition. The students rehearsed together for three days at the Hilton in New York City and then performed in a culminating concert at Carnegie Hall under the direction of Judith Willoughby from Oklahoma City University.

   The five students from Rochambeau Middle School (Kyle M., Bryce W., James T., Patrick P., and Seth W.) were sent by their director, Traci Galla. The one student from Memorial Middle School (Katie S.) was sent by her director, Kate Zimmerman.
