Reopening Region 15 Schools: We are CONNECTED. We are PREPARED. We are REGION 15!

We are continuing to take guidance from the State of Connecticut, Connecticut State Department of Education, Department of Public Health, and the Center for Disease Control to best support the health and safety of our students and employees.  All our plans follow safety and health guidelines as outlined in:

Currently, Region 15 Schools are opened in the following models:

In-Person Learning : If families select In-Person Learning Elementary and Middle School Students will attend school 5 days per week and High School students will follow a Social Distanced Hybrid Re-Entry schedule where half of the student population attends school in person while the other half participates through Synchronous Virtual Learning.

Voluntary Remote Distance Learning :  Students would participate in distance learning from their home. Lessons would be synchronous with in-person learning in the classroom.

The following document describes the differences between Region 15's Options for the 2020-21 School Year.
