Goal 1: Skills for Learning
The student acquires the attitudes, knowledge, aptitudes, and skills that contribute to effective learning in school.

The student will:

1. Describe the rights and responsibilities of self and others.
2. Explore the impact of a positive attitude on school success.

 

Goal 2: School Success
The student employs strategies to achieve success in school.

The student will:

1. Describe the thought-process before a decision is made.
2. List the steps in the decision-making process.
3. Discuss choices and consequences.

 

Goal 3: Academics to Life Success
The student
understands the relationship of academics to the world of work and to life at home and in the community.

The student will:

1. State how he/she can learn from mistakes.
2. Discuss what it means to belong to a group.
3. List the positive effects of working together.

 

Goal 4: Investigate Careers
The student acquires the skills to investigate the world of work in relation to knowledge of self and to make career choices.

The student will:

1. Discuss how we all have something to offer.
2. Discover the importance of strengths and interests in carrying out a task.

Students will employ strategies to achieve future career success and satisfaction.

The student will:
