The Professional Development Council members will meet approximately five times per year to:

-Collaborate to problem-solve district-wide issues.
-Advance an organizational culture that recognizes and embraces the factors necessary for self-renewal.
-Plan and evaluate professional development programs based on district and school needs. -Ensure professional development offerings abide by Connecticut State Department of Education CEU guidelines.
-Maintain open and continuous communication across buildings.
-Review applications for BEST program mentors and cooperating teachers.
