Philosophy: In order to develop students’ scientific literacy, the district curriculum is designed to foster an exciting learning environment that nurtures curiosity, investigation and collaboration.

Curriculum Review Status: The development stage began in 2003-04. The 1st Year Implementation Plan occurred in two phases. Grades K-5 began in 2004-05 and Grades 6-8 started in 2005-06. Full implementation will continue to 2008.
