Philosophy: The World Language department affirms and supports the belief that language and communication is at the heart of the human experience. All individuals can be successful learners of languages and cultures if provided programs and opportunities that match their instructional approach to their personal needs. 

Curriculum Review Status: The revised curriculum was developed in 2003-04 with the 1st year implementation in 2004-05. Implementation continued through 2007. Planning for a revised curriculum will take place in 2007-08.
