       WHAT:       The 2008-2009 School Budget Referendum
         “Shall the proposed Budget of the Pomperaug Regional School District #15
in the amount of $58,809,060 be adopted?”

       WHEN:      Thursday, May 22, 2008          Polls Are Open 6:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

       WHERE:      Middlebury: Shepardson Community Building, Whittemore Road                                            Southbury: Southbury Firehouse, Main Street South

       WHO:         All Registered Voters or Owners of taxable property valued over $1,000
                         are eligible to vote in the School Budget Referendum. The property
                         (real estate/home, motor vehicle, personal) must be listed in the
                         person’s name on the October 1, 2007 Grand List. Owner(s) must be
                         U.S. Citizen(s) over 18 years of age.

       WHY:          To fund the upcoming school year budget. This budget represents a 4.77%                          increase in spending for the coming fiscal year.
