In a recent Region 15 survey, the main reason for not
voting was “schedule conflict”.
Here’s how you can
obtain Absentee Ballots for a spouse or college student who will be out of
town, a resident who is immobilized or anyone with a conflict,
as stated on the Application for Absentee Ballot that may
prevent them from voting on the 2005-2006 school budget on
Wednesday, May 4th.
All Registered Voters or Owners of taxable property valued over $1,000
are eligible to vote.
The property (real estate/home, motor vehicle,
personal) must be listed in the person’s name on the October
1, 2004 Grand List. Owner(s)
must be U.S. Citizen(s) over 18 years of age.
