        WHAT:       The 2006-2007 School Budget Referendum

                   “Shall the proposed Budget of the Pomperaug Regional                                             School District #15 in the amount of $53,724,100 be adopted?”

         WHEN:        Wednesday, May 3, 2006

                      Polls Are Open 6:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.

        WHERE:         Middlebury: Shepardson Community Building                                               Southbury: Southbury Firehouse, Main Street South

        WHO:         All Registered Voters or Owners of taxable property valued                                             over $1,000 are eligible to vote in the School Budget Referendum. The property                     (real estate/home, motor vehicle, personal) must be listed in the person’s name                     on the October 1, 2005 Grand List.  Owner(s) must be U.S. Citizen(s) over 18                     years of age.

        WHY:          To maintain the present level of academic programming.

 The School Budget will be the LAST question on each ballot.

 Three questions will be on the ballot in the Town of Middlebury. Two questions will be on the ballot in the Town of Southbury.
