The PTO Advisory Council will be hosting a forum to introduce candidates running for a seat on the Pomperaug Regional School District 15’s Board of Education.
The upcoming Board of Education (BOE) election on November 6, 2007 will have six people running for three BOE positions in Southbury. The two candidates in Middlebury are competing for two positions and therefore the race is uncontested. Only the Southbury candidates for the contested seats will be at the forum. The Region 15 PTO Advisory Council will be hosting a “Meet the Candidates” forum to introduce the candidates and their ideas to the community. This is a great opportunity to meet the candidates and hear their views about education in Region 15. Audience members can write down questions to candidates anonymously.
