Petty Cash Account

Policy

It is the policy of the Region 15 Board of Education that a separate petty cash checking account, limited to $2,550, is established.  Such checking account to be used for such budgeted items that require pre-payment or immediate payment, or for normal District expenditures amounting to $50 or less.  The petty cash bank account shall be reimbursed under an imprest system.  No other deposit shall be made to the account.  The Superintendent of Schools or the Director of Business shall be authorized to sign such checks.
