recruitment, Selection, and appointment of non-certified personnel

Policy

It is the policy of the Region 15 Board of Education that it is the duty of the Superintendent, or his/her delegated representative, to seek the most highly qualified personnel to fill vacancies of non-certified personnel in the Pomperaug Regional School system.

It shall be the duty of the Superintendent, or his/her delegated representative, to see that persons nominated for employment shall meet all qualifications established by law and by the Board of Education for the type of position for which nomination is made.

The Superintendent, or his/her delegated representative, will recommend all non-certified personnel for employment to the Board.
