suspension of employees

policy

It is the policy of the Region 15 Board of Education that the Superintendent or his delegated representative may, at any time, suspend any employee when, in his judgment, the interests of the School District so demand.  He shall immediately report his action to the Chairperson of the Board.

A non-certified employee shall have the right to appeal the suspension by the Superintendent or his delegated representative.  Such appeal shall be made, in writing, to the Chairperson of the Personnel Policies/Curriculum Committee of the Board within one week of the suspension.
