Policies
No. 5131.4 Students Series 5000 Dismissal of Students Policy It is
the policy of the Board of Education that no pupil shall
be dismissed from school prior to the closing of a school
session except as authorized by the Principal or his
authorized representative, or at the written request of
the parent, or for emergency reasons.
In all cases the dismissal must be with the
approval of the Principal or his authorized
representative. The
Board of Education believes that instructional time is
important and every effort should be made for students to
attend whenever they are not too ill to be in attendance;
whenever possible, appointments, vacations, and other
events should be scheduled so that no school time is
missed.
