All eyes, Irish or otherwise, were smiling this week as the students from Long Meadow Elementary School were preparing for the impish leprechaun to arrive on March 17th. Student art work about Ireland, Irish folklore, and leprechauns hung from ceilings and on walls. Mrs. Ahern's second grade class created Leprechaun Traps with materials, including clay, moss, and sticks.
