LMES opened
September 1997.
The LMES district includes
all Southbury students east of (and including) Main St North and Route
67. It includes all Middlebury students west of (and including) Long
Meadow Road and South of Judd Hill Road.
As of January, 2008 Long Meadow
had 179 students who reside in Middlebury and 425 students who reside
in Southbury.
