Both titles feature articles, maps, illustrations, a dictionary, and thesaurus. Buttons at the top of most articles lead to relevant sites on the World Wide Web.  Additional buttons link to relevant magazine articles. Some titles featured in the New Book of Knowledge include: Children’s Digest, Current Health, Current Science, Super Science, Science World, Junior Scholastic, Time for Kids, U+S+Kids, and Sports Illustrated for Kids.

Immigrant Experience
This collection covers the full range of the immigrant experience including sources on Native American migrations, European and Asian immigrants of the 19th century, the incorporation of Hispanic peoples as the United States expanded westward, and the forced migration of African-Americans by the slave trade. Articles are selected from nearly 1500 newspapers, magazines, journals and government publications. Many articles include graphics.
