A trip to Nature's Classroom is an experience you'll remember for a lifetime.   You will learn about the enviroment and community by participating in a variety of hands-on inter-disciplinary activities.

Our group will be going to beautiful Camp Jewell in Colebrook, CT.   The camp features a beautiful woodland setting, lake, hiking trails, climbing wall, giant slide, and a small animal farm.  Most cabins consist of three main rooms: a common room (with fireplace!) and two bunk rooms.  Each bunkroom accomodates up to 12 campers.  Cabins have two bathrooms; each has two toilets, two sinks, and one shower.

The trip is scheduled for the end of November.  Many of the activities take place outdoors, regardless of weather.  RAIN (or snow) OR SHINE, we're out there.   Daily high temperatures generally range in the 30s to 50s.  Daily lows generally range in the 20s to 30s.  Check out our packing list so you'll be prepared and comfortable.

Visit the Nature's Classroom web site to learn more about the program and see a sample schedule of activities.
