In Region 15 we are committed to address the indoor air quality in out buildings. We have an Indoor Air Quality team at PES, which is coordinated by Carissa Keepin, Principal, and Sue Catuccio, physical education teacher. In addition the team consists of the school nurse, a parent, and a custodian. We have included our most recent IAQ Plan, which will be revisited periodically with the staff through surveys and walk through inspections. Tools for Schools Meeting Minutes January 4, 2008 Present: Sue Catuccio, Chair; Connie Yacavone, Parent; Carissa Keepin, Principal, Joe Seminara (Head Custodian) We went through the action plan (IAQ) for 2006 and updated the status of each concern and solution. Most have been accomplished, but several still need resolution. This updated plan was submitted to the PES Webmaster for posting on our website. We reviewed the findings from Baseline Indoor Air Quality Report for PES, conducted June 2007 by EnviroMED Services, Inc. Several of the suggestions will be followed up on with Keith McLiverty. We will distribute surveys to staff again at the January 2008 faculty meeting. When surveys are returned, the IAQ Team will reconvene to chart results and develop a new action plan.
