Pomperaug High School announced that the school’s theatre department received Halo award nominations in 18 categories this year. The Pomperaug Theatre Company staged two productions this year: In A Grove: Four Japanese Ghost Stories and Little Women, The Musical.

The 12th Annual Halo Awards will celebrate the best in Connecticut High School Theatre on May 26 and 27, 2015 at the Palace Theater in Waterbury. This year, 56 schools will be participating, with two nights of awards highlighting the best in high school theatre. One of the highlights of the night will be the presentation of the Gypsy Robe.

“I am proud of all the students who created the two wonderful plays this season,” said Paul Doniger, artistic director of Pomperaug Theatre Company.
