Membership of the PTO Advisory Council is made up of two parent-representatives from each of the seven schools' PTOs in Region 15. The Superintendent, a Selectman from both Southbury and Middlebury, and a Board of Education member also attend these meetings.

The goal of the Council is to enhance the communication between the parents and the Region 15 Administration. It is also a combined effort to coordinate programs in the two communities in Region 15. Additionally, a part of its responsibilities is to heighten budget awareness among citizenry of both towns.

The PTO Advisory Council also publishes a monthly Did You Know? newsletter to help inform parents on specific issues.

Region 15 PTO Advisory Council Meetings are scheduled for 9:30 a.m. in the Central Office Conference Room in Middlebury, Connecticut. If there is a delayed school opening, the PTO Advisory Council will meet at 10:30am.
