6th Grade Chorus is made up of 92 students. We meet twice every six days to sing selections from different time periods, styles and cultures that are both accompanied and a cappella. In 6th grade, singers learn about proper breathing and posture, ear-training, sight-singing, note reading, phrasing, diction, and how to work well with others. We sing mostly treble music in 2 and 3 parts, with boys occasionally on their own part in the bass clef. Our piano accompanist is Mrs. Susan Theodos.
