7th & 8th Grade Chorus is made up of 108 students. We meet twice every six days to sing repertoire from different time periods, styles and cultures that are both accompanied and a cappella. In 7th and 8th grade, singers continue to learn about proper breathing and posture, ear- training, sight-singing, note reading, phrasing, diction and how to blend voices with others. We sing 3 and 4 part pieces with girls singing soprano and alto, and boys singing tenor and bass. Our piano accompanist is Mrs. Susan Theodos. We occasionally have students accompany for the chorus as well.
