Students used the Oculus Virtual Reality Headset to navigate through a three-dimensional, audio-enhanced roller coaster in Mr. Stewart Wilson's Art Technology class at Rochambeau Middle School in Southbury. "It was pretty cool. I really felt like I was on the roller coaster and felt like I had to lift my legs during some of the sharp turns," said Luke M.
Rochambeau Middle School Principal Mr. Michael Bernardi was invited by art technology teacher, Mr. Stewart Wilson, to try the Oculus Virtual Reality Headset. "I can see how this virtual reality headset could be used in a variety of careers from medicine to engineering. It's very exciting that our students have the opportunity to use this technology," said Mr. Bernardi.
