What is a PPT? A Planning and Placement Team (PPT) reviews referrals to special education, determines if your child needs to be evaluated, decides which evaluations will be given to your child, and determines whether your child is eligible for special education services. As a valued participant of the PPT, you will be working with teachers, school administrators, pupil services personnel, and, as appropriate, other specialists whose expertise may be helpful in designing and interpreting your child’s evaluations.
