One of the main responsibilities of the Region 15 Board of Education is to develop an annual operating budget proposal that supports the educational goals of our community.

One of the main responsibilities of the Region 15 Board of Education is to develop an annual operating budget proposal that supports the educational goals of our community.

Strategy Five of the 2009-2015 Strategic Plan states that: "We will establish methods of providing information for public access to enhance the understanding of the school budget, its components, and benefits." The strategy continues, "We will enhance current communication campaign to garner awareness for the Region 15 budget."

All registered voters or owners of taxable property (valued over $1,000) are eligible to vote in the School Budget Referendum. The property (real estate/home, motor vehicle, personal) must be listed in the person's name on the October 2012 Grand List. Owner(s) must be a U.S. citizen(s) over 18 years of age.

  • Absentee Ballot Application: If you foresee that you will be unable to appear at the polling place during the designated voting time, download and print an Absentee Ballot Application and hand-deliver to the Town Clerk's office for a Ballot. Ballots cannot be mailed. Residents must first fill out an application which will then be verified by the Town Clerk before a ballot can be issued. All ballots must be returned to the office before 8pm on May 8.
