Tutoring

The Region 15 School System wants to provide opportunities to help children succeed and achieve their academic goals. 

If you find that your child needs extra support, you may wish to explore hiring a tutor. The following is a list of Region 15 teachers who provide out-of-school tutoring in many subjects, including reading, mathematics, science, study skills, and test preparation.

This referral service was developed to help parents and children easily find and connect with qualified instructors, trained in Region 15 curricula and techniques, for one-on-one academic assistance.

The Region 15 Human Resources office serves as a "clearinghouse" to make Region 15 teaching staff and parents aware of the list and the private tutoring policy. The office maintains the list and sends it to school counselors in October and May.

Hiring is not done through Central Office and the list only includes tutors within Region 15 schools. To hire a tutor, please contact the teacher/tutor directly or call your child's guidance counselor.
