GES Classroom Supplies

 

Classroom Supply Lists for 2011-1012:

Unless otherwise noted, please bring all your back-to-school items, labeled with your name, to school on the first day.

 Kindergarten

 No supply requirements.

Grade 1 

  • 2 large glue sticks
  • 6 sharpened #2 pencils
  • Small package of eraser caps
  • Grade 2

    Some supplies you will need at the start of the school year are:

    • A soft pencil pouch
    • 1 pencil sharpener
    • 1 sturdy folder
    • 24-48 count box of crayons
    • A smock with your name on it and in a Ziploc bag

    If you can, please send in:

    • A box of tissues

     Be sure to place all your items in a backpack, without wheels.

    For the first day, please bring in a healthy snack.

    Grade 3 

    Please bring these items in the first week of school.  You can pack them in your backpack – one that does not have wheels and fits in your shared locker.

    • 3 Red correcting pens
    • 2 Highlighters
    • Regular #2 pencils
    • Pencil-top erasers
    • Soft pencil case (not a hard box)
    • 2 Plastic folders with pockets
    • Box of crayons
    • Colored pencils
    • Glue stick
    • Art Smock with name on it

    For the class if possible:

    • Box of tissues

    For the first day, please bring a healthy snack and a just-right reading book.

    Remember, our policy is not trading/sharing of food.

    Please keep the list of the titles of books you read over the summer – you will need this list in the beginning of the school year.

    Grade 4

    For the student:

    • 12 pencils (#2)
    • 6 pencil top erasers
    • 1 pack color pencils
    • 2 highlighters
    • 2 large glue sticks
    • 4 plastic folders with pockets
    • 2 correcting pens
    • 1 composition notebook
    • 1 smock in a Ziploc bag with your name on it

        For the classroom:

    • box of tissues

     

    Grade 5

    Each classroom teacher will be mailing home a supply list that meets the needs of their specific classroom. They have worked together to ensure that their lists are of reasonable and cost conscious.
