The counseling program is designed to provide guidance to all students. The guidance counselor meets regularly with all students as part of an educational program to teach students to work together, handle peer pressure, solve problems and know the dangers of drugs and alcohol.

 The guidance counselor also organizes and runs the Gainfield Guides program.  Select 5th graders work together to provide community service throughout the year.
