Pomperaug Elementary School

Each grade level has a Student Intervention Team that meets weekly. This initiative focuses support in the regular classroom by helping teachers collect data for problem solving and brainstorming ideas for intervention. In addition to the grade level teachers, the Principal, a Special Education Teacher and the Interventionist meet bi-weekly with the team. Other support personnel in the building support the team as needed: Psychologist, Reading Consultant, Speech and Language Pathologist, and Guidance Counselor.
