PES Volunteers
Education today is a combined effort of school, home and the community, working together to provide our children with the best possible educational environment. When utilized effectively, community resources can enhance and strengthen the overall educational process. Combining our efforts, PES will be better able to meet the educational needs of our students.
Adult and student volunteers, willing to donate time and talent, can help make the learning process more exciting and meaningful. Children learn that they can benefit from what other adults and older students have to offer. They return to our community havin benefited from the wide variety of backgrounds, talents, and skills of these volunteers.
School volunteers enrich curriculum, improve school/community relations, and provide greater opportunities for our children to exchange ideas and receive individualized attention. When volunteers are willing to give their services, they, too, are rewarded. They meet new friends, learn new skills, and experience the joy of helping others.
We recognize the great contribution that our school volunteers make and encourage parents, grandparents, students, retirees, business people, and any others interested to become a part of our education team and PES family.
