Pomperaug Elementary School

The Special Education Resource Program begins in kindergarten and is designed to meet the needs of students who require special education services in the regular education setting. This program has trained special education teachers assigned to the various grade levels. The resource teachers work closely with the classroom teachers and other specialists to develop and implement a curriculum that ensures success for all children in the least restrictive environment.
