Each spring Region 15 participates in the CAPSS/WCSA Superintendent/Student Award, sponsored by the Connecticut Association of Public School Superintendents and the Western Connecticut Superintendents Association. Awards are based on community service and service to others, academic prowess (relative to ability), and leadership service to the school community.  Our award winners for 2006 are:

· RMS Rachelle R. and Lindsey T.
· PHS Elizabeth C. and Arun N.

      The students were recognized on May 15, 2006, at a ceremony at the Fireside Inn in Newtown.
