We are excited to announce STEM-A-Palooza!, a free, high-energy event designed to make STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) come alive!

This exciting new celebration of discovery and innovation will take place on:
Saturday, September 26th, 2026
10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Pomperaug High School (234 Judd Road, Southbury, CT).

STEM-A-Palooza! promises to be an unforgettable, hands-on experience for learners of all ages, from 3 to 99, across the district and surrounding areas. To ensure the event is a resounding success, we are actively recruiting enthusiastic community members, local professionals, hobbyists, educators, and volunteers from around the state to join the team.

Whether you are a seasoned professional or simply want to support STEM, there is a volunteer position for everyone:

• Bring Your Own Activity: Share your unique expertise by facilitating your own hands-on demonstration, experiment, or interactive informational display.
• Run a Pre-Made Station: Want to lead an activity but don’t have a plan? The planning committee will provide you with a fun, engaging STEM activity to run!
• General Event Support: Help make the day run smoothly by assisting the day of the event.
