Jeromy Nelson, Region 15’s Director of Fine Applied and Technical Arts, received the Connecticut Education Network (CEN) Outstanding Leader Award (COLA) at the 2022 Annual CEN Member Conference held on May 5, 2022 at the Connecticut Convention Center.

Mr. Nelson was recognized for his demonstrated leadership and consistent pattern of extraordinary dedication to the CEN community; record of positive impact on the broad CEN community; and wide recognition as a team player and one who has enriched the CEN community.

“Jeromy is always willing ‘to go above and beyond’ what his position entails, and his efforts to support technology throughout the pandemic and at our Board of Education meetings have been very valuable. His support of our community, our students, and our staff is distinctly evident and appreciated,” said Dr. Carrie Chiappetta, Assistant Superintendent of Schools, who nominated Nelson for the Outstanding Leader Award.
