We are excited to share some news from our district leadership team! The Connecticut Association of School Personnel Administrators (CASPA) has officially named Becky Fairbairn, Director of Human Resources for Region 15 Schools, the 2026 Personnel Administrator of the Year.

The award was presented to Becky at the CASPA Annual Conference on May 8, 2026, honoring her distinguished service, professional leadership, and the impact she has made on our school community.

The Personnel Administrator of the Year Award is given to an active CASPA member who demonstrates exceptional skill in managing change and bringing a creative, innovative approach to human resources. Becky was selected because of her:

• Innovative Staffing Solutions: Creatively navigating the ever-evolving landscape of public education staffing.
• Professional Leadership: Constantly elevating personnel functions to better support our schools.
• Compassionate Approach: Balancing the tough demands of administrative work with deep respect, empathy, and care for every single staff member.
