Region 15 Public Schools congratulates Dr. Carrie Chiappetta, Assistant Superintendent, who was recently honored at Our Influential Women 2025, hosted by the Connecticut Rivers Council, Scouting America.

The annual event, held on October 19, 2025, at the Chippanee Golf Club in Bristol, celebrates women who inspire change, lead with purpose, and serve as mentors within their communities.

Hosted each year by the Connecticut Rivers Council, Scouting America, Our Influential Women highlights the achievements of more than 20 remarkable women who have made a meaningful impact through their professional accomplishments, volunteer service, and personal journeys of courage, compassion, and integrity.

Dr. Chiappetta was recognized for her visionary leadership, community engagement, and unwavering commitment to educational excellence. Her influence spans more than two decades in public education—from her early years as a classroom teacher in Stamford Public Schools to key administrative leadership roles in both Stamford and Region 15.

“It is a true honor to see Dr. Chiappetta recognized at this year’s Our Influential Women event,” said Jeromy Nelson, Director of Fine, Applied, and Technical Arts for Region 15. “Her leadership is both visionary and compassionate; She empowers others to grow, builds communities that learn together, and reminds us that great schools are built on collaboration, care, and purpose.”

Through this recognition, the Connecticut Rivers Council celebrates women whose service and leadership inspire others and supports Scouting programs that develop future generations of leaders across Connecticut.
