At the South-West Conference (SWC) Annual Leadership Event held in early May, Bridget Moran and Jia Jang of Pomperaug High School were recognized as recipients of the 2025 SWC Unified Sports One Athlete–One Partner Leadership Award.

This award is presented to one athlete and one partner from each member school in recognition of their outstanding commitment, dedication, and service to Unified Sports. Bridget and Jia were honored for their leadership and active participation in promoting inclusion through Unified activities at Pomperaug High School, within the community, and across the South-West Conference.

Their recognition highlights the importance of inclusive opportunities and the lasting impact of peer partnerships built through Unified Sports.
