The South-West Conference (SWC) recently recognized outstanding student-athletes from its member schools at their Annual Awards Event, held in early May. Among the honorees were Fotini Anastasiadou and Brendan Fenn, who were selected as Pomperaug High School’s 2025 SWC Scholar-Leader Award recipients.

The SWC Scholar-Leader Award celebrates students who exemplify excellence in both academics and athletics, while also demonstrating exceptional leadership within their school and broader community. Fotini and Brendan were chosen for their commitment to achievement, teamwork, and service—qualities that reflect the core values of both PHS and the SWC.

Their recognition highlights the strong tradition of academic and athletic excellence at Pomperaug High School.
