Unified Sports

We are a Special Olympics National Banner Unified Champion School! Our goal at PHS is for a community that welcomes all people. We are proud of our school community and sense of inclusion it provides to our student body. 

Special Olympics National Unified Champion Banner School: 2019, 2023

National Banner Unified Champion Schools are a prestigious group of schools that provide a Unified Sports, inclusive youth leadership and whole school engagement. 

Special Olympics Unified Champion Schools® build on values, principles, practices, experiences and impacts to shape a generation that welcomes everyone.

Unified Sports® is a registered program of Special Olympics that combines athletes with and without intellectual disability (or other developmental delays) on sports teams for training and competition.  Soccer is offered in the Fall, Basketball in the Winter, and Track & Field in the Spring.

All are welcome to participate!
