Instructional Coaches
Region 15 Instructional Coaching Framework
Instructional coaching in Region 15 is based on the belief that all educators deserve personalized, high-quality professional learning that strengthens teaching and improves student learning. Coaching supports teacher growth while promoting equitable and engaging classrooms for all students.
To support this work, Region 15 uses a blended instructional coaching framework grounded in research and best practices. The framework is informed by the work of Jim Knight, Elena Aguilar, and Diane Sweeney and will continue to evolve as new research and insights emerge.
At its core, the Region 15 instructional coaching framework focuses on strong professional relationships, reflective practice, and student learning, supporting both school-based priorities and districtwide initiatives.
